Who Do I LOVE????

Yep...these all these guys! Here are my kids with every first cousin they will ever have. These were taken before church a few Sundays ago. It took several "takes" to get some decent ones. Miraculously, we even made it to church early. We had the BEST time with everyone and the kids had so much fun together!! I will post more about our fun later. We also had professional outdoor photos taken of all 19 of us. I can't wait to get those back and share them. The photographer spent 3 hours with all of us!

Eclipse

Of course I purchased my Eclipse tix in advance. Fortunately these movies get better and better so I was really looking forward to going! What was even more exciting was that we had a group of 13 people going together to the midnight showing. Yeah...most of them were pre-teen girls... but who cares? My brother, Thad, and his family arrived the day before so I was very excited that my sister-in-law, Pam and their kids (Seth, Kurt, Maddie and Lindsey) would be joining myself, Faith, two of my BFF's and their daughters and nieces. I don't think seeing Eclipse was on the top of my nephews "to-do lists" but they were great sports and were not the only guys there! We had a lot of fun and FREE popcorn always helps. We didn't get to bed until about 3 am and I'm not sure if I have recovered yet. Looking forward to Breaking Dawn in Nov. of 2011.

Camping

My brothers and families were here for a couple of weeks and I am dying to post pics. and blog about our fun but I must go in order and blog about camping first. Most people think I seem too high maintenance to camp but I actually enjoy it. The only thing I can't stand are the bathrooms. I am extremely grossed out sitting (squatting) over a toilet that seems to be "bottomless" and where you can see everyone elses "business" in it. My question is..."who empties these and how much do they get paid?" Although Beckett is getting a little easier, he can still be hard to handle at times. He LOVES the boat and does really well on it but is in a stage where he refuses to keep his shoes on. The other three kids really enjoy it. I see a fair amount of camping in our future.

So...Kyle had been on his annual "mancation" with two of his friends. The two friends had to go home early and the pop-up camper they were borrowing would still be there for an extra night so we decided to use it. Combined with boating, swimming and tubing it was a great time! I forgot to bring my camera on the boat so no pics.
